Description: During this seminar you will learn the basics of repair of portable radiation survey instruments. We will provide a quick overview of detection principles for common instruments. We will discuss and trace signal paths through block diagrams to better understand where to begin repairing the instruments. We will also discuss the importance of record-keeping for your instrument repairs.
Who Should Attend: Anyone wanting to learn the basics of repair, such as Supervisors, Technologists, and Health Physicists will benefit from this seminar. This seminar is designed to be accessible to beginners but is also appropriate for someone with an intermediate level of instrumentation experience. Advanced repair technics will also be available.
